REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Borough of Duncannon has developed a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit the services of a qualified consultant to complete a five-year strategic financial and management plan for the Borough consistent with the standards outlined in the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Early Intervention Program. RFP packages including the full scope of work, project budget and schedule, and the full RFP requirements can be downloaded by clicking here. Full RFP packages are also available at the Borough’s offices located at 428 North High Street, Duncannon, PA, 17020. All proposals must be submitted electronically to eiprfp@duncannonboro.org no later than 4 p.m. prevailing local time on Friday, May 6, 2016.

Duncannon Borough is located in central Pennsylvania near the Susquehanna River. 
 

If you have a water or electrical emergency, please call Duncannon Borough Manager, Chris Courogen at  the Borough Office at 717-834-4311.

The Borough Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

      

 

Mr. Paul Liddick Sr. is Duncannon Borough’s Local Emergency Management Coordinator. Emergency supplies to include in a kit:
  • Water-one gallon per person per day
  • Prescriptions, diapers, formula
  • Food-three day supply
  • Battery operated flashlight/radio and batteries
  • First Aid Kit
  • Whistle to signal for help
  • Moist towelettes
  • Wrench or pliers
  • Manual can opener
 
 




The Borough of Duncannon has recently implemented CodeRED, a high-speed notification system.  It provides Borough officials the ability to quickly deliver emergency messages borough-wide or to targeted areas.
