The contractor for Petersburg Commons will be performing hydrant flow testing on Thursday, February 8th. We are posting in advance of this testing to give residents notice and advise them of the potential discoloration in their water. The area most likely to be impacted is the north end of town, particularly on High and Market Streets as well as Petersburg Commons. The testing itself likely will not last more than an hour, however water discoloration may remain for several hours after that.
