Boil Water Advisory 9-25-20

This is an important message from the Duncannon Borough. We are currently experiencing extremely low water levels in our storage facilities. This may cause a loss of positive pressure. This possibility requires you as a consumer to take the following actions, effective immediately.  You must boil all water prior to consumption.  This means any water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled before use.  Do not drink the water before boiling it first!  For more information about this public notice, call the Borough Office at 717-834-4311.

UTILITY SHUT-OFFS TO RESUME

UTILITY SHUT-OFFS TO RESUME Thank you to those customers who have continued to make timely utility payments.  Though not required, the Borough has kept in line with the Public Utility Commission procedures regarding utility shut-offs during the COVID-19 crisis.  Since April, we have kept our delinquent customers updated monthly with current account balances. On Tuesday, September 15th, Borough Council voted unanimously to reinstate penalties (Oct 6) and shut-offs (mid-October) for accounts with past due balances. If you have an outstanding balance, please call the Borough office at 717-834-4311 to discuss payment options. Thank you.
