Spring Tax Collection Office Hours have Changed

Due to a scheduling conflict, Spring tax collection office hours are changed to: Saturday, 3/27, 10 am to 1 pm Monday, 3/29, 2 pm to 6 pm Tuesday, 3/30, 2 pm to 6 pm There will be no office hours on 3/31. Payments can be dropped off in the mailbox on the front porch. Receipts can be provided if a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope is included with your payment. You can also call 717-503-5496 to make an appointment for non-office hours.

SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED

Duncannon Mayor John Cappawana has declared a Snow Emergency in the Borough, effective at 12:00 PM, Noon on Thursday, February 18 until Friday, February 19, 2021 at 5:00 PM.  The decision was made to issue the declaration in advance of the anticipated snow in order to give Borough residents ample time to move their vehicles from designated Snow Emergency Routes. Trash Collection Changes due to large snowfall

Due to the large snowfall, Friday (Dec. 18) TRASH COLLECTION will be POSTPONED until Monday (Dec. 21) so that our crew can concentrate on snow removal. Monday's Regular TRASH COLLECTION (Dumpsters and out of the Borough Customers) will be POSTPONED until TUESDAY (Dec. 22). PLEASE tell your friends and neighbors!
