This is a boil water advisory message from the Duncannon Borough.  On Wednesday, August 14, 2024 the Ann Street water main project will be extended to other areas of the Borough. New Water system control valves are being installed in the surrounding areas and this notice is for all residences that are connected to the Duncannon Water system.   This will result in a loss of positive pressure due to new water valves being installed in various areas throughout the Borough. You should not Drink the water without boiling it first. You should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and food preparation until further notice. Testing will be performed on the water system after the project is complete for two consecutive days to verify the water is safe to use, if the water is safe to use a notice will be sent to you informing you that the water is safe to use without boiling first.
