Due to another unexpected waterline break and loss of positive water pressure on Thursday, February 9th related to the High St Water Main Replacement project, the Boil Water Advisory issued Wednesday, February 8th remains in effect until further notice for the following area: N High St, from Hickory St to Rachel St., Mary St., and N Lincoln St from Clark St to Newport Rd. Boil Water Advisory 2-8-23

Due to an unexpected water main breach and loss of positive water pressure, the area mapped out below is now under a boil water advisory (the area circled in red). Residents should not drink the water without boiling it first. A notice prepared by our water system operator with more information is being delivered door to door and it is available here and on the Borough website. The Borough of Duncannon Public Works is aware of the current water outage.  At around 8:15am this morning, the contractors discovered a leak  on North Lincoln St.  The water had to be turned off to repair this leak.  We know that this shut off has affected those around the Borough, not only on North Lincoln St.  We will keep you updated as we get more information.
