During the Borough Council meeting held on April 20, this Resolution was proposed to Council and some members wanted to hear input from the residents before they could form an opinion. Due to a scheduling conflict, Spring tax collection office hours are changed to: Saturday, 3/27, 10 am to 1 pm Monday, 3/29, 2 pm to 6 pm Tuesday, 3/30, 2 pm to 6 pm There will be no office hours on 3/31. Payments can be dropped off in the mailbox on the front porch. Receipts can be provided if a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope is included with your payment. Duncannon Mayor John Cappawana has declared a Snow Emergency in the Borough, effective at 12:00 PM, Noon on Thursday, February 18 until Friday, February 19, 2021 at 5:00 PM.  The decision was made to issue the declaration in advance of the anticipated snow in order to give Borough residents ample time to move their vehicles from designated Snow Emergency Routes. During a Snow Emergency, it is illegal to park on any designated Snow Emergency Routes. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
