SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED Duncannon Mayor John Cappawana has declared a Snow Emergency in the Borough, effective at 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 31 until Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 4:00 PM. Borough residents must move their vehicles from designated Snow Emergency Routes before the 6:00PM start time. During a Snow Emergency, it is illegal to park on any designated Snow Emergency Routes. Although we were unable to hold the New Year's Eve Sled Drop, we still wanted to commemorate the new year with a traditional Wooden Nickel. Mask-up and stop by the Borough Office to pick one up. We are open from 8-4, Monday through Friday. Call 717-834-4311 with any questions.

The Duncannon Borough Parks and Recreation has NOT Planned a New Year's Eve Sled Drop Event.  However, the 2021 Sled will be on Display at the Clarks Ferry Tavern for a short time.

Due to the large snowfall, Friday (Dec. 18) TRASH COLLECTION will be POSTPONED until Monday (Dec. 21) so that our crew can concentrate on snow removal. Monday's Regular TRASH COLLECTION (Dumpsters and out of the Borough Customers) will be POSTPONED until TUESDAY (Dec. 22). PLEASE tell your friends and neighbors!
