The Borough is currently working to replace a section of water main in the area of South Main Street and New Bloomfield Road where a leak has been identified.  Due to the presence of several broken valves and the configuration of the piping, a limited water shutdown in the area of Carver’s Hill and South Main Street will be required in order to make the final connections.  It is anticipated this shutdown will occur sometime the week of November 1, 2021 and will also result in a Boil Water Advisory for the affected area for at least two days after water is restored.  Further information will be provided to impacted residents and businesses based on construction progress this week and as plans are finalized.  Any construction activity within the system has the potential to cause discoloration of water or pressure fluctuations throughout the Borough.  The possibility of this occurring will be heightened over the next two weeks. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Map of Anticipated Boil Water SR 0274 Water Main Replacement – Shutdown Area 10-24-2021
