Voluntary Water Conservation Implemented…

As a result of the mandatory conservation measures set in place several weeks ago and the improvement in groundwater conditions due to recent rains, the water storage levels in the Borough’s system have returned to acceptable levels. As a result, the Borough is hereby removing the mandatory water conservation restriction set in place on June 9, 2023 and transitioning to a VOLUNTARY water restriction effective immediately. System users are reminded that excessive water usage may have a negative impact on the storage levels and could result in additional mandatory restrictions in the future. Public Water Supply Emergency Remains in Place

Due to a water line break on July 1, the Borough will remain in a Public Water Supply Emergency throughout the week & weekend and we will reassess the water supply on Monday, July 10, 2023. In accordance with Borough Ordinance No 432 it shall be unlawful for any person to draw water from the public water supply except for Essential and other ordinary household uses.
